If you're an individual contributor or a team lead in the US trying to figure out where to start with workplace AI, this page helps you pick two things: a role-based learning path that matches what you actually do, and a starting level that matches what you already know. It is a self-directed learning hub, not a request form — if you're looking to request training or an engagement for your organization, see the corporate training request page instead.
LuMay Academy organizes role-based AI training into ten tracks. Find the one closest to what you do today — each track points to the kind of skills and use cases that track covers.
You set AI strategy or sign off on adoption decisions.
You run day-to-day workflows and want AI to remove repetitive work.
You scope, prioritize, or ship AI-touched product work.
You build, integrate, or operate AI systems.
You use AI for outreach, content, or lead work.
You handle tickets, escalations, or service quality.
You coordinate process, exceptions, or reporting.
You work in forecasting, review, or reporting.
You run hiring, onboarding, or workforce enablement.
You review documents or maintain governance controls.
"Learn AI" isn't a goal you can act on. A useful starting point names a level and a concrete, checkable outcome.
LuMay Academy's hands-on labs are organized into five categories. The exercise shown under each one is an illustrative example of the kind of task that category covers — confirm the current curriculum and availability when you request an engagement.
Example exercise: draft and compare two or three prompt variants for a task you repeat weekly, then judge which gives the more usable output.
Example exercise: map a multi-step workflow in your role and identify which single step an agent could safely take over first.
Example exercise: walk through how an image- or document-reading model would summarize a sample file relevant to your role.
Example exercise: outline the three questions a knowledge assistant would need to answer correctly to be useful for your team.
Example exercise: list the human-review checkpoints you'd want in place before an AI-assisted output reaches a customer or regulator.
Match it to how much you already use AI day to day: new to AI, using it occasionally, or already applying it regularly within your role. Pick the role track above that matches what you do, then set one concrete objective (see "How to Pick a Practical Learning Objective") so you know what "done" looks like.
LuMay Academy's program description references both live workshops and in-depth, self-directed content alongside hands-on labs. The exact mix available to you — live, self-paced, or blended — depends on the specific program, so confirm this when you request an academy engagement below.
This page is a self-directed learning hub for individuals and team leads deciding where to start. The corporate training request page is for organizations submitting a request to set up training for a team or department.
Not confirmed as a general outcome of these exercises. LuMay Academy does describe a separate "Enterprise AI Careers Program" that mentions certification support, but that is specific to that program, not a guarantee attached to every lab or exercise. Ask about certification specifics when you request an engagement.
Pick the closest match — most of the content (prompting, evaluating AI output, governance basics) carries across roles. If you want something tailored more precisely, raise it when you request an academy engagement.
Tell us your role, your starting level, and your objective. LuMay will help point you to the right academy track or lab.
